Treasure Island at The Bay Theatre
Ahoy! This October 12th, the Morro Bay Chamber and the Historic Bay Theatre welcome you to celebrate the inaugural Morro Bay Maritime Festival with a Saturday night showing of Treasure Island - the essential screen rendition of Robert Louis Stevenson’s unforgettable classic of swashbuckling foes and untrustworthy friends at sea. In this ultimate tale of buried doubloons and double crosses, catch the immortal Long John Silver and young Jim Hawkins playing a high stakes game of cat-and-mouse on the high seas. Starring Lionel Barrymore and Jackie Coogan, this 1934 classic was masterfully directed by Victor Fleming, famed for The Wizard of Oz & Gone With the Wind.
Tickets are $20 each; $10 Kids 12 & under. Each comes with a “golden” ticket to the Chamber’s treasure chest of surprises and prizes donated by many wonderful downtown businesses. Arrr!
