South Bay Women's Network December Scholarship Presentation Event

This year’s presentation will take place at The Benedict, 1401 Quintana Road, Morro Bay on December 10th, which is the second Tuesday of the month, at 6:00 pm. The venue is family-friendly, so we welcome the children of our recipients to come along (children under 15 are free). Catering will be provided by SLO BBQ CO, featuring a menu that includes:

• Tri-tip
• Grilled Chicken Breast
• Pulled Pork
• Strawberry Field Salad
• Garlic Bread
• Pinquito Beans
• Cowboy Corn Pie
• Fire Grilled Vegetables

The potential scholarship recipients either applied themselves or were nominated. Each candidate must be a female re-entry student at Cuesta College, meaning she has returned to college after a break in her education after high school. The funds for these scholarships were raised through events like the Garden Party Scholarship Benefit, the CLUE the Movie Fundraiser, the Adopt-a-Poll initiative, and generous contributions from SBWN members and supporters.
