Escaping the Labrynth - By the Sea Productions Staged Reading
By the Sea Productions is presenting a staged reading of Escaping the Labyrinth, written by Thomas Hischak and directed by Janice Peters.
While visiting Delphi, Bud, a young history scholar, meets a Greek god who tells him that the gods live forever, but have to move on every 10 years because they never age, while those around them do. When Bud meets the goddess Artemis and falls in love with her, she disappears and he spends the rest of his life searching for her, eventually finding her when he returns to Delphi as an old man.
The cast includes Gregory DeMartini as Bud, with MJ Johnson, Ed Cardoza, John Geever, Tim & Diana Linzey, and Ali & Redzuan Abdul Rahim as various gods and goddesses.
Escaping the Labyrinth performs one weekend only, July 26-28, on Friday and Saturday evenings at 7pm and Sunday at 3pm. Tickets are available at bytheseaproductions.org or call 805-776-3287.Date and Time
