Annual Summit
State of Morro Bay, State of District 2 & State of MOrro Bay Tourism
The 2024 Inaugural Morro Bay Business Summit will convene local business and community leaders for a networking lunch. Kicking off the summit, Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce Interim CEO, Jocelyn Brennen, will deliver opening remarks, setting the tone for an engaging and collaborative experience. Participants can look forward to gaining valuable insights into the prevailing economic climate, emerging trends, and opportunities that lie ahead.
Increase your understanding of the local community at our upcoming Summit, where you will have the exclusive opportunity to engage with key local leaders. Supervisor Bruce Gibson will provide an overview of the current state of District Two, focusing on the unincorporated areas, including Los Osos, Cambria, and the North Coast in his State of the County address.
In addition, join us for a State of the City presentation by Morro Bay Mayor Carla Wixom, who will share the state of the city. This is a unique chance to gain a deeper understanding of Morro Bay's current affairs and future initiatives.
The event wouldn't be complete without a special segment from Visit Morro Bay. Executive Director Michael Wambolt will offer an analysis of the tourism sector's current status, highlighting recent achievements and upcoming opportunities.
Finally, we will cast our gaze forward into 2024, discussing anticipated developments and strategies for continued economic growth and prosperity in our community. Don't miss this opportunity to stay informed and connected with your community!
