About Us

The Savory Palette is a charming hidden gem with a relaxed ambiance offering delightful experiences that pair wine and food, and now also tea with food! Our menu features a fantastic selection of cheese, charcuterie, and small plates that perfectly complement a glass of wine, pint of beer or cup of tea. No need for reservations at the bar; we welcome you to enjoy open seating for wine and food—just stroll in. Afternoon tea is available with as little as 24 hours notice.

We are a retail wine shop and more on the beautiful waterfront of Morro Bay! Here you can find great boutique wines from California (mainly Central Coast) and International destinations for sale by the bottle. Take one home for dinner, or stay and order something tasty from our menu, open it here, or have something from our by-the-glass wine menu or one of our local craft beers on tap and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and great view (food order is required during COVID). Our regular menu includes cheese & charcuterie boards, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, burgers and soups. Winemaker/pairing events and live music will be back when we are allowed to have large gatherings again.
