One of the most enjoyable things we do on behalf of our members and in service to our Morro Bay Community is to honor the best among us. Our Annual Awards Gala for our 2023 Recipients will be held on May 31, 2024.

• Jon Elliott has been named Citizen of the Year in recognition of his remarkable contributions, including providing haircuts at Monday Night Dinners, partnering with the City of Morro Bay to organize the Downtown Trick or Treat event, and various acts of community service.
• Ed Frawley is honored as Living Treasure for his longstanding commitment to volunteering and philanthropy, enriching the lives of countless individuals throughout the Morro Bay community.
• Dutchman's Seafood House receives recognition for their enduring legacy and dedication to providing a quality dining experience, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere for families in Morro Bay.
• Infinite Music is celebrated as Nonprofit of the Year for their transformative music-making programs and events, empowering students to learn, experience, and express themselves through music.

During Happy Hour we will listen to the stylings of Kentucky Monk, a San Luis Obispo based acoustic duo made up of friends Jordan Gallagher and Luke Lyons. They joined to the SLO music scene a few years ago but collectively have over 20 years of live music performance in the eastern states and are marked by a chemistry found in the best of veteran music groups. Kentucky Monk has a versatile style to suit whatever occasion: fun, chill, soulful, and beyond.
